Delivery Failure Scenarios and Solutions

These are the common problems and solutions to any situation where a package never arrives at its destination.

  • The express package (DHL, UPS, Fed-Ex, etc.) does not reach your home or office
    Global Care Market will re-send the goods or give you a full refund. Such cases are very rare when using express courier services.

  • The postal airmail package has not arrived after 4-weeks.
    Global Care Market will give a full refund after the delivery deadline for your destination has expired. These cases are rare, but can happen in due to strikes, weather conditions, local post office inefficiency, etc. depending on the region.   • My order arrived and appears to be missing some items
    In such a scenario, does the package seem to have been opened or damaged during shipment? If the answer is yes, then you must raise the issue immediately with the courier or delivery company. With the correct documentary proof through the courier company reporting process, we will be able to push them for a missing package confirmation promptly, allowing us to re-send the goods or give you a refund. If the answer is no, then we will investigate the situation and come up with a good solution for you.

  • A shipment is delayed, turned back, or seized by customs
    Such cases are unusual, and in such events we will try to assist our customers, however it is the customers responsibility to handle import issues into their country.

The Delivery Failure Cases Where The Customer Accepts Liability

  • No one is is available to sign for the package delivery
    You (or the consignee) must be available to accept delivery of the goods. If the delivery company could not deliver the package(s) because no one was available to sign for the shipment, then you will need to arrange with the local courier for a re-delivery. This includes all these situations;
    - You were not at your home or office and the courier could not contact you
    - The delivery details provided were wrong
    - The recipient fails to sign for the goods
    - The courier cannot satisfactorily verify the identity of the person attempting to receive the goods
    - The courier cannot deliver to your "remote area"
    - Delivery fails due to unusual weather, natural disaster, etc.

  • You (or the consignee) refuses to pay the customs duty or tax
    It is the customers responsibility to know if any customs fees may be required when importing anything from overseas.  If the customer refuses to pay the customs fee, Global Care Market will not issue a refund.
